☼ studio ii / 2026 / ur digital oracle
A palm-sized physical AI oracle designed to intercept moments of cognitive offloading and turn them into slower, self-authored reflection.

3 glyphs + 1 wordmaterial
Physical, private, low resolution☾ problem space
NaRa responds to the rise of sycophantic, prescriptive AI companions: systems optimized to validate, engage, and decide on behalf of the user. The project asks whether a deliberately restrained interface can protect cognitive sovereignty instead of consuming it.
The device does not chat, store a persistent log, or offer a final answer. It blocks or slows prompts that replace self-reflection, then gives the user symbolic material to interpret on their own.

♢ input field
NaRa uses symbolic, low-resolution imagery because interpretation is the point. A glyph is not a diagnosis. It is an object for thought.

♜ physical prototype
The prototype reframes AI as a small, bounded object. It asks the user to hold a question, wait through friction, and scroll through ambiguous output before returning to their own thought.
